My name is Joe Lacy and I am from Chicago, IL. I am about to be a junior Film major, and hope to direct/edit movies someday. I hope to gain knowledge about Gothic authors and about the Gothic time period throughout the course of this class. It is hard to say whether or not I am a fan for Gothic literature because I have never really read the genre, but am enjoying the reading so far and find it pretty interesting. I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of the course syllabus, and am looking forward to the next few weeks.
Wonderful pic Joe! I'd love to find a gargoyle like that for myself :) It seems I have two film students in the class. I hope you can see some connections in the readings and how they can translate to today's film. LD
